Coding for Kids, ages 10 to 14. This class is an introduction to the fundamental structures of programming. Your kids will get the opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes when they’re playing games on line, browsing their favorite sites etc. They will learn many of the essential programming functions including things like conditional logic, data structures, arrays and object manipulation. The goal of the course is not to teach a specific language, however, most of the coding exercise will be done using JavaScript.

Who is this class for?

All kids ages 10 to 14 that are interested in coding and have little to no prior experience with coding.

What should the students bring?

Each student will need to bring a wireless capable laptop (Mac, PC or even Linux) with an up to date browser installed. We’re mindful of the fact that the kids might be using YOUR laptop for this so they will be instructed not to visit any websites other than what is needed for class.

What is included?

Lots of fun, good learning and snacks!

Where is the class held?

The class will be held at 15100 W. Hwy 29 in Liberty Hill, TX. It’s on the corner of Hwy 29 and CR 200.

When is the class?

The class will be on Tuesday, March, 17, 2020 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
