Computers for Kids is a 2 hour, hands-on class for kids aged 6 to 12 to teach them about how computers function. The kids will have the opportunity to see how all the little pieces of the computer function together. They’ll see the inside of a hard drive, handle various internal computer parts and even get a chance to install and uninstall parts from inside the computers. The course will include a brief history of computers including where video games fit in. Class size is limited, so register now.
Who is this class for?
All kids ages 6 to 12. Kids outside of the age range are welcome to tag along but we ask that they keep away from the instruction area so the other kids can focus.
What is included?
We provide all the computers the kids will be handling. However if you happen to have any old PCs or laptops you’re looking to get rid of, we welcome donations for future classes. They will be disassembled for parts so it doesn’t matter if they work or not.
Where is the class held?
The class will be held at 15100 W. Hwy 29 in Liberty Hill, TX. It’s on the corner of Hwy 29 and CR 200.
When is the class?
The class runs from 5:30 to 7:30 on March 16th, 2020.
A full refund is available within 72 hours of the start of class. After that, you will receive a coupon for another class of equal value or less.
