Description
WordPress Fundamentals is a class designed to teach you everything you need to know to start and run your own WordPress website. WordPress is the most popular and well developed website content management system available today. Each attendee will be installing and configuring a WordPress website from scratch. You’ll learn about pages, posts, editing, themes, plugins, widgets, site security, blogging and even the basics of eCommerce. By the conclusion of of this class, you’ll have everything you need to make your own site. Please note, while we will cover some actual web design practices, the focus of this class is how to create and manage your site, it is not focused on design.
Who is this class for?
WordPress Fundamentals is for anyone interested in building and managing a WordPress website for business or personal reasons.
Are there prerequisites?
No prior knowledge of WordPress is required but attendees should have general experience with a variety of websites where you manage things like settings and account information.
What is included?
All materials are included, plus lunch, a certificate of completion, a coupon for 50% off any additional class of equal or lesser value and a coupon for 1 hour of individual help when you set up your own website.
What do I need to bring?
You need to bring a well functioning laptop capable of wireless access. There may be a limited number of computers available if you don’t have your own but advance notice is required.
Where are the classes held?
The class will be held at 15100 W. Hwy 29 in Liberty Hill, TX. It’s on the corner of Hwy 29 and CR 200.
When is the class?
The class will be held on Saturday March 14, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (6 hours of instruction plus lunch and breaks).
Refund Policy
A full refund is available within 72 hours of the start of class. After that, you will receive a coupon for another class of equal value or less.
